Booking & cancellation terms

1. Your booking

A booking is confirmed only when payment has been successfully completed and the booking is shown as confirmed in your account. Your booking is for the date, start time, duration and arena event shown in your confirmation.

Please check your booking details carefully before paying. If anything is wrong, contact us as soon as possible at bookings@caehamdden.co.uk.

2. Cancellations and refunds

If you ask us to cancel a confirmed booking at least 48 hours before its scheduled start time, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the booking, no refund is automatically due. We may choose to offer a refund or alternative booking in exceptional circumstances.

If Cae Hamdden Arena has to cancel your booking, for example because the arena is unavailable or conditions are not suitable for use, we will offer a full refund or, where suitable, an alternative booking.

Once a refund has been submitted to Stripe, the time it takes to appear back on your card or account depends on your payment provider or bank.

3. Cooling-off period

Arena hire is a leisure service supplied for a specific date and time. The usual statutory 14-day cancellation right for many online purchases generally does not apply to this type of dated leisure booking. This does not affect any other rights you have under consumer law.

4. Arriving and using the arena

Please arrive in enough time to park, unload and be ready for your booked start time. Your booking does not automatically extend if you arrive late.

Only use the arena and any equipment included with your booking during your allocated time. Please leave the arena promptly at the end of the session so the next booking can start on time.

5. Horses, riders and safety

Equestrian activity carries inherent risks. Riders, handlers and accompanying persons are responsible for acting sensibly, using suitable equipment and protective clothing, and ensuring that the horse and rider are appropriate for the activity being undertaken.

Children must be appropriately supervised. Do not use any part of the arena or equipment that you reasonably believe to be unsafe. Please report any problem to us promptly.

6. Damage and behaviour

Please treat the arena, equipment, parking areas and surrounding property with care. Deliberate, reckless or unreasonable damage may be charged to the person responsible.

We may ask somebody to leave if their behaviour creates an unreasonable safety risk, causes deliberate damage, or seriously disrupts other users.

7. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made or for loss or damage caused by a customer failing to follow reasonable safety or access instructions.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you make your booking will apply to that booking unless a change is required by law.
